Something I think about often as I edit films is how much we feel the pull to fill every moment with dialogue or clip switching or just so much movement in order to keep our teeny attention spans happy.

We don’t often let someone’s day breathe as it did… but this time, I let it breathe. Megan and Kage’s day was simple, and minimal, and profoundly beautiful because they let it exist as it was.
